2007-2008 Fundraiser
During the 2007-2008 school year the Charlo PTA decided to raise funds to purchase an additional swing set for the Elementary playground. The goal is to raise $3,500 for the purchase a 6-Place Swing Set with a Handicap seat.
Our fundraising efforts of letters to various businesses, a snack table at the basketball tournament and vegetable seed sales has giving us a total of just over $2,000 so far.
Since we haven't quite reached our goal yet, we will continue to work on our fundraising efforts this summer to meet our goal prior to the start of the 2008-2009 school year.
Rummage Sale at Ronan Crazy Days
On July 11-12 in Ronan we had a rummage sale at the storage units on Hwy 93 south of Don Aadsen Ford. The Charlo PTA had a net profit of about $1400 from the rummage sale! Thank you Christy Fryberger for your efforts in organizing and running the sale.
Charlo's Fourth of July Festivities
On July 4th, we sponsored a variety of kids games, sold drinks, and sold misting fans in the Charlo Park following the Charlo Fourth of July Parade. Everyone had a great time, and the Charlo PTA had a net profit of about $450 from the activities! Thanks to Angie Mock for organizing the event as well as all the other PTA members and parents who helped make it a success. |
